ALTILIX

ALTILIX is a powder extract obtained from the leaves of a particular cultivar named Cynara cardunculus var. Altilis DC. It is standardised to contain 10-12% Chlorogenic Acid and derivates and 2-4% Luteolin-7-glucoside and derivates. ALTILIX can counteract the higher fat accumulation in the hepatocyte cell line induced by free fatty acid (FFA). The Mechanisms involved are to modulate the expression of PPAR-y (peroxisome proliferator- activated receptor), and to inhibit FAS activity (fatty acid synthase) in hepatocyte cell. ALTILIX is used in dietary supplements designed to naturally support gastro-intestinal functionality and health.
