PVP/VA W-635

PVP/VA W-635 is a linear, random copolymer produced by the free-radical polymerization of vinyl acetate and vinylpyrrolidone monomers in a ratio of 60/40. PVP/VA W-635 is supplied as an approximately 50% aqueous solution with a viscous liquid appearance. It produces transparent, flexible and oxygen permeable films when applied. The product adheres well to various surfaces like glass, plastics and metals. It exhibits both cohesive and adhesive properties which makes it suitable for applications that require these characteristics. PVP/VA W-635 can be used as a binder and improves receptivity in applications involving liquid-based formulations. Its film-forming properties along with adhesion and flexibility makes it well-suited for products involving surface coatings where durability and protection is required.
