PHARMATOSE 60 M is a white or almost white, crystalline powder freely soluble in water, practically insoluble in ethanol. It is a lactose monohydrate powder conforming to pharmacopeia monographs. PHARMATOSE 60 M offers over 98% of particles under 600 microns in size, making it well suited for various pharmaceutical applications requiring fine particle sizes. Its purity, consistency and solubility characteristics make PHARMATOSE 60 M a suitable excipient for direct compression as well as wet granulation processes in tableting. PHARMATOSE 60 M dissolves rapidly and does not influence the bioavailability of active ingredients, an important consideration in formulations.
