ANCAMIDE 2137

ANCAMIDE 2137 is an amidoamine curing agent designed for use with liquid epoxy resins in the formulation of high-solids, low-VOC products. Compared with other products of this type, it has a much lower viscosity and a markedly faster thin film set time. Gel time is also much shorter. ANCAMIDE 2137 offers resistance to blush and exudation with excellent flexibility and impact resistance. It provides noncritical loading of between 70-100 phr, including 1:1 by volume with standard liquid epoxy resins. This improves chemical resistance attainable at 70 phr loading, whereas at 100 phr, flexibility and impact resistance are increased. ANCAMIDE 2137 is suitable for applications requiring primers for steel and concrete as well as adhesives, putties, sealants and flexible cable joint compounds.
