DESMODUR VKS 10

DESMODUR VKS 10 is a mixture of diphenylmethane-4,4'-diisocyanate (MDI) with isomers and higher functional homologues (PMDI), which is a mixture of monomeric polyisocyanates that is suitable for combination with Baycoll® in the formulation of adhesives. DESMODUR VKS 10 is particularly suitable for combining with Baycoll in the formulation of reactive two-component adhesives and moisture-curing one-component adhesives for bonding many materials, e.g. wood, metal, and plastics. On account of the vapour pressure of MDI, especially at elevated temperatures, adhesives with free isocyanate groups can only be handled in work areas with adequate extraction.
